How Vacsmart Works

POINT-OF-CARE COLLECTION

Using the mobile waste trolley at point of care, routinely place untied waste procedure bags into the Vacsmart bag. The mobile trolley is foot-pedal operated and designed with a slow opening/closing mechanism to minimise air turbulence.

BAG SECUREMENT

Remove the Vacsmart bag from the mobile trolley and open the Vacsmart seal bar using the foot operated sensor. The machine is designed with a secure mechanism to ensure the bag is sealed in place without any risk of leakage. Once the bag is secure, the Vacsmart will automatically close and start its vacuum cycle.

VACSMART PROCESSING

Allow the Vacsmart process to complete its cycle, after which the seal bar will open and gently release the vacuumed bag. The system removes the air completely from the vacuum bag, and seals it to eliminate risk of spillage or cross-contamination.

DECANT INTO BULK BIN

Take the sealed Vacsmart bag and place it into the appropriate bulk waste container.
